DESCRIPTION:
Unfinished ebauche, appears to be for an Abraham Louis Breguet "Souscription" exhibiting the distinctive layout of this type, consisting of plates, train, and a cylinder escape wheel, ebauche is held within a brass ring of 60mm diameter, s#4337 and s#229 marked to dial plate. A rare and fascinating piece of history for the Breguet collector.
CONDITION:
Incomplete with components present/absent as pictured, plates with some darkening and spotting of surfaces, has a three digit number marked to dial plate and edge of brass ring.
